I like your reinterpretation. I've heard your previous version many times and this is definitely a worthy followup :) So my vote is keep it up! Also, since you're dying to know, my favorite part of your remix is the sort of half - tempo outro bit that begins at 3:09 - 3:10, and how you verrry slowly bring the intensity back up to finish it out.
