Welcome to SceneSat - the place that connects the many musical aspects of the demoscene to the rest of the world.

Nope, I don't feel like hearing this at all right now...
*hmmm* Well, I don't have to switch off, but I'm not raising the volume either...
Yes, this track fits my mood perfectly!

Powertrace: well, MOST of them. For the Soundtracker 15 instrument and some noisetracker bits, you still need uade or an Amiga.

Hmm. I shall bug the Titan peeps to get their butts over here and discuss their tracker (:

    Ok that's good to know
Though I only made mods in protracker so that won't be an issue?

Milkytracker is intended to be a replacement tracker for FT2 users, with the aim of achieving near-perfect FT2 playback - bugs included! As a bonus Milkytracker also handles Protracker MODs very well (check out the Amiga resamplers for a more authentic sound), as well as various other formats. With version 0.80 (released April 2008) the tracker has more or less reached its goal and can be considered complete (although the development version has multiple bug-fixes and some new features).

Milkytracker development is currently sporadic, due to its virtually complete status and lack of time on the part of pailes (the main developer) and myself - but since Milkytracker is now open-source anyone with a bit of C++ knowledge is free to contribute any improvements that keep to the main philosophy; Milkytracker is a 2nd generation tracker and intends to stay that way.

Sorry if this sounds a bit like a Wikipedia article. If you want to know more, talk to other Milkytracker users, or are interested in contributing or helping to develop Milkytracker then please join our (mostly) friendly community

I use it to see the notes when remixing a module. For that it's great.

This sentence caught my eye. How are trackers divided into different generations? Just curious.

I haven't seen Milkytracker before, looks quite like a good old FT2 indeed I was using FT2 for years and still remember most of its keyboard shortcuts.
