Terms of Use

Effective 16 July 2026

Welcome to SceneSat. These terms are deliberately short — we're a community radio station, not a law firm.

The service

SceneSat provides live radio and video streams, a show archive, and a community chat, on scenesat.com and in the SceneSat apps. The service is provided as-is, free of charge, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability — sometimes a cable gets kicked mid-show.

Your account

One account per person, and you're responsible for what happens under it. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or the community.

The chat

Be excellent to each other. The chat is public, bridged to IRC and Discord, and recorded during live shows as part of the show's archive. No harassment, no spam, no illegal content — moderators may remove messages and mute or ban repeat offenders.

The music and recordings

The shows, streams and archived recordings are for personal listening. The rights to the music remain with their creators — the demoscene lives on people sharing their work, so respect it: don't rip, redistribute or commercially exploit the streams or archive.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, SceneSat is not liable for damages arising from use of the service. We're a volunteer-run community station; treat us accordingly.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
