"The Chip SID show" is a radio show in collaboration with Scenesat Radio in Sweden, with your host Max Hall. Playing music directly from the back of the 1982 Commodore 64 home computer. Featuring some of the best and most technically crafted melodic music to be found on the Commodore 64's SID chip. “The Chip SID show came about because I wanted to do a show that was about the appreciation of good C64 music and play it in a way that someone who had a real love for the tracks would. There is so much technically good music for the machine from back in the 1980's and indeed being produced on an almost daily basis today, so that in itself warrants the time and effort to produce these shows." "All of the tracks are recorded directly from the rear end of my Commodore 64's using REAL hardware and REAL SID Chips." (None of this emulation malarkey!....E.d)
